In April? Five inches of snow in April? A dusting...even an inch...but snow that needs to be shoveled is ridiculous.
Spring Break kicks off with a snowstorm - lovely. We're supposed to be going to the park and riding bikes...not planning a trip to see a movie because it's too COLD to be outside!
Everyone appears healthy, finally. The boys are perfectly content to hang out in PJ's this morning, so I'll get some laundry done and then we'll see an early afternoon showing of Monsters vs. Aliens.

Another Sick Day
We're home for yet another sick day. Jared started throwing up around 2 AM and has finally stopped this afternoon. Poor kid spent the night on the bathroom floor. Owen got to stay home also, and he's just now passed out cold for his daily nap.
No swim lessons for us tonight.

"Pick Up Your Room" - a 2nd grade interpretation
I asked Jared to pick up his room last night and again this morning before school. It's not that large of a room...pretty small, actually. I didn't yell, I didn't threaten punishment, and I didn't nag. I asked once last night and once this morning. He spent a total of probably 30 minutes in there by himself.
Here's what I find upstairs now:
The books are still all over the floor...the puzzle box is still out and open.
The pile of books is still in front of the door (from the big weekend sweep of the main floor).
