Until Christmas! The boys are beyond excited. We'll take them to see Santa this weekend - Owen has been begging since last week. I have a bit more shopping to do - and wrapping! Ugh. I'm going easy on cookies this year - I just don't have enough weekend time left and I'm not up for baking every night for a week. We'll make 2 or 3 favorites and call it good.
We took the Cub Scouts to visit the police station last night. The officer who gave us the tour was great with the kids. As we all snapped pix of the boys in the holding cell, we stressed that this was a first AND last for each of them!
Tonight is the first night for dinner together in days...Brian chose turkey breast with gravy, and I'll add mashed potatoes and corn - all courtesy of the Schwann man! :) We did get to all sit down together last night, but I was feeling stuffed from the holiday party at work so Brian made pasta for himself and the boys while I ate pierogies. :)
The big fire department party is this Friday! Should be a fun time - it usually is. And the kids are geeked for their sleepover at Grammie & Grandpa's (with the mustache like this).
