Owen loves to be the goalie - he begs for at least a quarter each game. I haven't decided if it's the funky shirt to wear over his uniform...or the prospect of being first to the line at snack...or the thrill of defending his team...or just the big dirt pile in front of the goal. I should ask him about it....
So I asked him why he likes to be the goalie, and he says "because you get to catch the ball and sometimes you get to fall down and get dirty."
