Brothers
I saw the cutest thing this morning...I drove the kids to the bus stop. I know, it's across the street, but I didn't want them running through the snow and getting their pants wet...or racing around the corner with the roads as slick as they were.
Jared is, of course, faster than Owen. He got out first, then beat Owen to the bus stop. But then I saw him let Owen go ahead of him in line...because being FIRST is a big deal. It was so sweet. :)

PINK is where it's at!!
My obsession with the color pink started...well, right about the time this blog was started! With two boys, my opportunities to buy things PINK were limited. For some reason, they and their daddy balked at frou-frou pink things.
Well...combine that with my 3-Day endeavors last year, and let's just say that I LOVE PINK!!! :) A few examples of my pink obsession...
1) Pinky-D - my pink dyson vacuum
2) 75% of my wardrobe is pink shirts
3) My cell phone is pink (ok, it's maroon, but close enough)
4) My iPod lives in a pink case and holds pink headphones
5) I buy all of the Method pink grapefruit products for cleaning
6) Pink flash drive
7) Pink snuggle socks
8) Pink whimsy dragon
9) Pink flower hair ties
10)My awesome new Sassy pink lunch container!

Proud Mommie Moments
A couple of random "proud mommie" moments...
Owen brought home his little can from LOTWA - the school is collecting money to send children in Guatemala to school. He was SO excited about his little collection can...he brought it home and went right upstairs to fill it with coins from his piggy bank. He says he wants to "help a Maya child" go to school so that they can "be smart and have lunch". :)
Along the same lines, Jared brought home a note asking me for 2 quarters to donate to Haiti in exchange for folding laundry and cleaning his room. Little guy went right up, folded his laundry, and made his bed. I gave him his quarters, and he then proceeded to empty HIS piggy bank to fill a tube with $10 worth of quarters.
They also are both bugging me about when we're making our blankets for Project Linus...suppose I should go buy us some fleece!
