Dang FB!
The Facebook feed doesn't appear to be working all that well...the photos aren't showing up in the FB notes any more. Grrr....

road trip!
We headed up to Gaylord & Lewiston this weekend for some fun and to look at a few cottages. We've been looking for two years but still haven't found "the one" yet - it's getting frustrating!
But we made the most of our trip, starting off with the car ride up. The boys packed themselves back packs of entertainment and enjoyed the ride up with not TOO much whining.
They packed all of the necessary road trip snacks - Twizzlers, rice krispie treats, tootsie rolls, and fruit roll-ups. Add in a cooler of water, Coke, and Sprite, and they were all set!
Owen of course brought Fluffy along while Jared couldn't leave on a road trip without Blankie!

The boys got a kick out of driving over the Zilwaukee Bridge...it still gives me the creeps!
After a long day of driving around and looking at cottages, we stopped for a quick swim at the hotel and then took off in search of dinner! We found it...mmm...enchiladas.
The boys had fun taking photos of Jared's little bunny Beanie Baby along the way...thanks to Grandpa and Grammie for that idea!
On Sunday, we toured around Lewiston before heading home. We met a very nice lady at the ORV store, and she directed us to the Lewiston Lodge for lunch - it was right on the lake and we all enjoyed our meals! The kids split a pizza - and it was a great price and very tasty! We hope to go back again, soon!
