fun summer haircuts

I'm a terrible blogger. I post pix with too-short or no captions...I rarely get back to post the story until days later...I neglect to update on the happenings in our house. I suck.

But the whirlwind of the end of school is insane! We went to Disney in May, and then it was just field trips, pencils, permission slips, field day, etc. The kids are LOVING summer vacation and going to camp. They also seem to get a kick out of staying up later...and watching lots and LOTS of baseball.

Both boys moved up to and are riding their "big" bikes now - they look adorable on them. Owen broke his thumb playing soccer in May, and he just got his cast off this week. So far, he's still writing with his left hand. Jared is very much looking forward to 4th grade and being a Safety next year!

I'm still PTO'ing and working, and Brian's still fire station'ing and directing operations. Pretty boring to hear about the grown ups. :)

Jared got his new 24" bike this weekend! It's a little big, but he'll grow into it before we know it! He loves it.
