Ahhh...it's Friday! Lovely Friday! It's been a busy week - not the complete insanity that's been so typical for the last 10 months.... (Yeah, since we met Madame Polka Dot)
So it's under control and I'm actually going to relax and enjoy a weekend. Starting with clearing out my DVR (actually, it's pretty empty with just a wayward 90210) and checking out the OnDemand HBO offerings. Oooh! Baby Mama is on this month! Later.

Easter 2009
We had a very fun Easter weekend with family. It was nice to see everyone - seems like it's been a while, wait, it has been at least a month, if not longer. And the weather cooperated long enough to allow the kids to hunt eggs outside, which was a pleasant surprise.
Today's the last day of Spring Break, then it's back to school. Everyone is planning to lounge in PJ's for the day. :)

Bunny Shopping
I had a hard time bunny shopping this year. Maybe it's because the kids have way WAY too much stuff...or I'm trying to clean out the basement playroom and more stuff doesn't help...or I'm a scrooge...or I'm just OUT of ideas. Regardless, I wandered Target, Dick's, Old Navy, and the outlet mall. No ideas.
Not true, I did see an adorable Star Wars Leapseter 2 that Owen would flip for, but $80 from the Bunny seems excessive. Jared wants Batman Lego for his DS, but even that's over $30!
So they're getting coloring/activity books and a new Tiger's t-shirt. And candy, of course. Lame bunny.

Mmmm...coffee
A year ago, I used to make a small 6-cup pot of coffee for Brian and I to share. We'd each take a travel mug and head in to work. Six months ago, I used to make an 8-cup pot of coffee for us to share. He'd take his travel mug and I could have 2 or 3 cups while working.
These days? I debate whether to make an 8- or 10-cup pot for myself. Brian occasionally takes a travel mug, but more often he's leaving before the coffee's finished brewing.
So I went from drinking a single travel mug per day to downing an entire 10-cup pot by myself? Can we all say "addiction"?

Winter Wonderland
In April? Five inches of snow in April? A dusting...even an inch...but snow that needs to be shoveled is ridiculous.
Spring Break kicks off with a snowstorm - lovely. We're supposed to be going to the park and riding bikes...not planning a trip to see a movie because it's too COLD to be outside!
Everyone appears healthy, finally. The boys are perfectly content to hang out in PJ's this morning, so I'll get some laundry done and then we'll see an early afternoon showing of Monsters vs. Aliens.
