The Six-Year-Old!
Happy Birthday to my little six-year-old! He got this MSU jersey from Uncle Kevin and Aunt Delena and insisted on wearing it immediately! He had a great birthday week - party at Kindergarten with mini Hostess donuts, rice krispie treats at swimming, chocolate cream pie, more mini Hostess donuts at LOTWA, a crazy day at Bounce U with his buddies, and THEN a party at home with the grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Whew!
He received lots of great gifts...the kid is beside himself with Playmobil, legos, his very own harmonica, and a REAL camera. Also, being that he's six now, Grandpa L made him his very own homework desk...he pestered Brian to get it all set up in his room, even though we haven't rearranged yet. And he's already started setting up his stuff in there...the camera holds a place of honor...right at the corner of the desk so that it is at the ready should a photo op arise.
And notice the green army men on the cake...our little man is having a blast playing army and hunting outside now that it's warm...he's got a great imagination.
Happy Birthday to our little guy...it's been a fantastic year!
