It's been a tiring weekend

It's been a tiring weekend. Can you see how filthy he is, too? I rarely get him from car to couch asleep, but he crashed after a big Target run and is still asleep!

We took all of the kids to Zukey after the auction - the big boys were entertained by the couple of Bakugan and a crazy spitball fight.

Bring Your Child to Work

Jared had a GREAT time at BYCTW today. He enjoyed the courses that I chose for him, the cookie-making, the pizza, hanging out in my cube, and, most of all, MISSING SCHOOL! Apparently hanging out in my cube was much cooler than school.

I don't really get it. Second grade sounds way better to me than work. But it was new and exciting, so he was happy. I liked showing my little guy around my office - and every third person was commenting on how much he looks just like Daddy - he really does! Mini Me.

Today is a good day for...

Owen decided that today was a good day to "go hip hop" for school. Can you see the little skull & crossbones?! He's such a character.

Hold Onto Your Hats...

I bought a flat iron!!! My hair girl (is there a better term? Stylist sounds so...snooty) - anyways, she finally convinced me that I wouldn't burn my ear off or spend 2 hours getting ready in the morning. So...I'll give it a whirl. Don't expect miracles.

Weekends are the best!

Ahhh...it's Friday! Lovely Friday! It's been a busy week - not the complete insanity that's been so typical for the last 10 months.... (Yeah, since we met Madame Polka Dot)

So it's under control and I'm actually going to relax and enjoy a weekend. Starting with clearing out my DVR (actually, it's pretty empty with just a wayward 90210) and checking out the OnDemand HBO offerings. Oooh! Baby Mama is on this month! Later.
